Phil Garrott joined HBRE in February 2024. He was born in Hopkinsville, KY and attended Western Kentucky University where he got his Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.  Phil’s career began with eight years’ experience with a national accounting firm.  While working there, he obtained his CPA certificate from the State of Tennessee.  He has been the CEO/CFO and part owner for Class 8 Truck & Trailer Dealerships in Nashville for the past 35 years.  During this time, he served as National Chairman for the Peterbilt Dealer Council and the Peterbilt 20 Group.  The Dealership was also awarded the National Dealer of the Year.

Phil has lived in Nashville for most of his life.  He and his wife, BJ, have travelled throughout all 50 of the United States.  When not working, he loves to spend time with his wife and their three grandchildren, Bo, Hutson, and Harby.
